Well, I tried to get myself into voice acting, but I've quickly ran into problems. Unsure of whether its an issue with the simple mic that i'm using, or the fact that I don't have any good sound recorders aside from the default one that comes with Windows. Hell, for that matter, it could even be my soundcard, but that seems more like a worst-case is anything.
Main Problem: Upon playback of soundfile, there is either feedback issues, or random static that rises higher than my voice. I've tried with distance from the mic, changing mics to one with a foam piece that covers the mic (as well as removing said piece) and I still can't get any decent quality out of it.
Anyone got any tips or solutions they could throw my way? Or am I pretty much just screwed until I get some better hardware?
